The purpose of this study is investigate the comparisons of leg muscle strength of the female volleyball players in the blocker and spiker players. Totally 22 female volleyball players, 11 orta volleyball players (age: 19,46±2,1) and 11köşe volleyball players (age: 19,66±2,0) were participated in this study. This study investigated age, height, weight, training age, leg length and leg muscle strength (pre-season and post season). The data were evaluated by the program SPSS 10.0. differences between pre-test and post-test values were analyzed by Wilcoxon test and differences between experiments were analyzed by Mann Whitney-U test. Body height of blocker were significantly higher than spiker player (p<0,05). Between the two groups, statistically significant differences, as leg length and post-season test values of leg muscle strength, were found the measurements (p<0,05). For both of the two groups showed a significant difference between pre-season and postseason test measurements of leg muscle strength (p<0,05). As a result, according to the volleyball game players in the game spiker in the blocker, players undertake a more active role. The work they do in the direction of leg forces more powerful than the spiker players can be connected to this structure.
