The Examination of Factors Affecting High School Students to Participate in Recreational Activities

In this study, the purpose of research is to investigate which affect participant in recreational activities of Hayrettin Gürsoy Kocaeli Anatolian Fine Arts and Sports High School Students with Kocaeli Yıldırım Vocational and Technical High School students. The research group is composed of 200 students. The “Leisure Barries Inventory” was used as data collection tool. It was developed by Carro Alexandria and a total of 6 subdimension consists of 27 items. The research findings on the barries to the measurement of leisure as a result of transportation from sports high schools and Anatolian high school students with the problem of lack of interest compared to the lower dimension in the lower dimensionsof time and found a statistically significant (p<0.05).
