Effect On Immunoglobins, Acth And Cortisol Hormons Of Aerobic Exercise

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects on immunoglobins, adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and Cortisol of chronic training application for 8 weeks duration and mild acute exercise in sedentaries. 15 adult male volunteers who sedentary life habits and regular exercise does not have participated to this study. IgA, IgG, IgM, IgE, adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and Cortisol plasma levels were measured in this study. First measurement was applied before exercise (pre-test), second measurement was applied after acute exercise for 5 min. period (acute-test) and last measurement was applied after mild aerobic exercise (post-test). SPSS program with Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was used statistically (p<0,05). In compare to blood samples of subjects after pre-test and acute-test, there was no significant differences on the parameters of IgA, IgG, IgM and IgE (p>0,05) but there was significant differences on the parameters of ACTH and cortisol (p<0,05). In compare to blood samples of subjects after pre-test and exercise for 8 weeks, there was no significant differences on the parameters of IgM and IgE (p>0,05) but there was significant differences on the parameters of IgA, IgG, ACTH and cortisol (p<0,05). As a result, it can be said that there is no effect significantly on immunoglobins of mild aerobic acute exercise but it affects the oscillation levels of hormonal parameters. While mild aerobic chronic exercises were increasing the oscillation levels of some immunoglobins, some were not affected but it affects to hormonal oscillation.
