This study aims to examine the impact of anxiety and intolerance of uncertainty on life satisfaction among individuals who continued engaging in active sports during the COVID-19 period. This study, which utilized the correlational survey model from quantitative research methods, included 269 individuals (91 women and 178 men) who continued active sports at a private gym. Data were collected using a “Personal Information Form,” “State Anxiety Scale”, “Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale,” and “Life Satisfaction Scale.” For data analysis, after normality tests, parametric tests including the independent samples t-test, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis were conducted. According to the study, there were no significant differences in state anxiety, intolerance of uncertainty, and life satisfaction based on gender, sports branch, or information reliability. However, it was found that individuals lacking sufficient information experienced higher levels of anxiety. The study identified a positive relationship between state anxiety and intolerance of uncertainty, whereas negative significant relationships were observed between state anxiety and life satisfaction, and between intolerance of uncertainty and life satisfaction. The findings indicate that state anxiety and intolerance of uncertainty are significant predictors of life satisfaction. It was determined that state anxiety and intolerance of uncertainty significantly predict life satisfaction and explain a substantial portion, approximately 20.5%, of the variance in life satisfaction.
