The primary aim of this study is the adaptation to Turkish culture of “Questionnaire for Self-Evaluation of Teacher Effectiveness in Physical Education (SETEQ-PE)” developed by Kyrgiridis et al. in 2014. In accordance with this purpose, after the translation process, the questionnaire was applied to 110 teachers who work for institutions affiliated to Eskişehir National Education Direct or ate and after that Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) is made by using SPSS 22; Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) is made by using AMOS 22. After the factor analysis 5 items were removed from the scale. SETEQ-PE that is used in this study consists of 6 subscales and 21 items. Fit in dices vaules are: Chi-square / degree of freedom (χ2/sd) 1.368, Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) .058, Standardized Roort Mean Square Residual .057, Non-Normed Fit Index (NNFI) .95, Goodnes of Fit Index (GFI) .84, Comparative Fit Index (CFI) .96. When these fit in dices are examined it can be said to be a good fit. Total Cronbach Alpha value of the scale is .930. As a result it can be said that SETEQ-PE (BEÖE-ÖD in Turkish) is a valid and reliable scale for Turkish Culture.
