In this study, social insurances of athletes’ are examined. Within the context of study, the athletes’ social security in Turkey, it’s scope, content, change and implementation models are discussed. In this context, related legislation, law, literature are studied. In order to measure the level of social security information of athletes in Turkey, survey method is used. The population of the study consists of licensed athletes whom are funded in return to their sport service. The SPSS version 17 software is used for data analysis. In the conclusion part, it’s seen that licensed athletes don’t know their rights, even not aware of protocols that are made and don’t benefit from these protocols.
