At this research, it has been aimed to determine effects of different endurance trainings on maximum oxygen capacities (VO2 max) of professional footballers. This study has been carried on with the voluntary participation of 39 professional footballers, ages avarages are 24,34, of Tepecik Belediye Spor and Bakırköy Sport Clubs from third League teams of Turkish Football Federation. For the statistical analysis, a package software named SPSS and the independent ‘t’ test have been made use of. At this research, different endurance trainings, being regular running practices during six weeks and variable tempo tracking, have been applied to voluntary footballers, without control group, according to preliminary test- final test research model. Before and after the study, shuttle run test has been applied in order to measure VO2 max capacities. There found to be no significant difference between the groups at the p>0.05 level, whereas significant difference at the p<0.001 level has been determined at the evaluations carried on before and after the in-group study. As a result, it has been determined that regular and variable tempo tracking trainings applied on professional footballers have similar positive effect on their anaerobic capacities.
